What to Expect – Balanced diet
A healthy and balanced diet is the foundation of a healthy body and ensures the growth and development of the child and strengthens the immune system. Therefore, we try to offer a balanced variety of foods for lunch and afternoon snack.
At lunchtime we might serve rice, pasta or potatoes with vegetables and sometimes meat.
The afternoon snack usually consists of fresh fruit, veggie slices or yoghurt.
In case of food allergies, we coordinate the meals with the parents correspondingly and adjust them accordingly. We also take cultural and religious eating restrictions into consideration.
We also love to use food as a way to teach the children the importance of hygiene (washing their hands, cleaning and washing fruits and vegetables, etc.).
